Getting Started

快速上手

Sign in with Apple or Google (Dailingo is login-first, so your progress syncs across devices).
Pick a scenario or topic — choose from category chips (ordering food, travel, small talk, workplace, job interviews…) or ask the AI to generate a custom topic.
Practice in one of three modes: Translation practice, Role-play dialogue, or Topic description. Use text, or tap the mic to practice speaking.
Get focused corrections — the AI surfaces only the 1–3 issues that matter most for your level, plus a CEFR-aligned score.
Review — useful words, patterns, and recurring mistakes are auto-saved to your Expression Bank, then resurfaced through spaced review.

How do I sign in?

如何登录？

Open the app and tap "Sign in with Apple" or "Sign in with Google". An account keeps your progress, Expression Bank, and ability profile in sync across the iOS app and the web client at english.daichenlab.com.

Do I need an API key?

No. v2.0 is server-backed — the AI is built in and runs on our server. You no longer need to bring your own API key like the previous version.

How is my level scored?

我的水平如何评分？

After each practice the AI gives an explainable score and builds a CEFR ability profile (A1–C2) with weak-point detail. Please note this is an AI estimate to guide your learning — it is not an official CEFR certification.

Can I practice speaking?

Yes. Dailingo uses your microphone with on-device speech recognition so you can practice pronunciation and fluency out loud. Prefer to type? You can deny mic access and still use text practice.
